From Workshop to Whiskey Row: Revealing the New Four Roses Gathering Space

Remember last week when we gave you a behind-the-scenes look at what we were cooking up in the shop? (If you missed it, go check out our inside the workshop sneak peek). While our initial teaser hinted at a tasting setup, the true vision for this historic room is much larger.

The sawdust has finally settled, the installation team has done their magic, and we are thrilled to announce that our latest project is officially complete and installed at 118 E. Main Street right here in Louisville, KY! This stunning room has been transformed into a premium, multifunction gathering and event space designed to host a wide variety of building events while steeped in bourbon heritage.

Stepping Into Bourbon History

This project was incredibly special for us. The building at 118 E. Main Street holds a massive piece of Louisville’s history. Back in 1884, Four Roses founder Paul Jones, Jr. moved his thriving business to 136 E. Main Street along Louisville’s historic “Whiskey Row”. Fast forward to today, and that exact architectural treasure is the very building numbered 118 E. Main Street.

Getting to honor that legacy by bringing premium craftsmanship back into this historic space was an absolute privilege.

Bringing the Vision to Life

When fabricating a multi-use event space, the design needs to be both breathtaking and highly functional. We collaborated closely with the design layouts to make sure every piece fit the architectural narrative perfectly. You can see the gorgeous final result.

Here is how the craftsmanship came together across our project blueprints:

  • The Focal Branding Wall: Following the exact signage specifications, we crafted a large, striking Four Roses dimensional display featuring backlit lettering that casts a warm, inviting amber glow against the historic brick.

  • 3D Printed Artistry: Crowning the main sign is the iconic logo emblem, intricately detailed with custom-fabricated, vibrant red 3D printed roses that give the branding a distinct tactile depth.

  • Precision Barrel Pyramids: Grounding the focal wall are two massive stacked pyramids constructed from authentic whiskey barrels. We mapped these out perfectly to the inch using the detailed dimensions to balance the room’s grand proportions.

  • Versatile Mobile Bar Cart: Because this is a multifunction gathering space, adaptability is key. We built a custom mobile bar cart painted in a sleek, deep black finish. It features a beautiful engraved Four Roses logo on the front panel and rests on heavy-duty locking swivel casters so it can be easily repositioned depending on the event setup.

Fueled by Locals

An installation of this scale takes a lot of heavy lifting, late hours, and precision. A shout out to the incredible staff at Repeal for hooking our crew up with a much-needed pre-install meal. Their food is absolutely top-tier and gave our team the exact boost we needed to power through the final installation stretch.

We couldn’t be prouder of how this tribute to Paul Jones, Jr. and Four Roses turned out. The next time the building hosts a gathering or a special event at 118 E. Main Street, guests will be stepping directly into a beautiful blend of historic legacy and modern woodworking.
